Complete coverage of Event 6 of the Women’s Individual competition at the 2021 Rogue Invitational, from Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas (Sunday, October 31). The Chipper is a high volume sequence of movements, which this year features a mix of high-skill gymnastics (30 strict handstand push-ups and 15 ring muscle-ups) and military style grip & endurance tests (75LB Jerry Can carry, Feed Bag box step-ups). With Tia Toomey facing a rare battle for the top podium spot in the final day of competition, the long-form challenge of the Chipper offered a golden opportunity to re-assert herself. It also proved to be a showcase for Kari Pearce, who’s competing in her final major individual competition after announcing her retirement earlier this year.
