There are two questions answered in this discourse.
The first question asked was - what is the difference between untimely death and natural death.
Om swami says that all deaths are natural deaths and some are just harder to accept. There is nothing like untimely death. All of them are due to some cause or the other like an accident, shooting, terminal diseases or the heart suddenly stopping . All souls are on a journey and even for a person who takes his or her own life it was meant to be that way. It is painful for the rest of the people who may view it in a different way. Generally, people may feel that it is natural for people to pass on when they are old but not when they are young or in circumstances which they classify as tragic.
The second question was if a purushcharana can be resumed from where it was left off due to some obstruction or obstacle.
Om Swami says that it depends on who gave them the purushcharana, what the mantra is, the rules that were given and also the stage where one is on the path in terms of progression. A person more advanced on the path and who has championed it can break the rules but the person who breaks it without championing it may have an unknown outcome. If the source of the mantra whether it is a guru or a book is quiet about this aspect then ideally it should be restarted or resumed depending upon the circumstances.
