After getting admission
1. Get an appointment from the Delhi Austrian embassy.
2. Get ready with all the below documents for the embassy appointment.
– Fully completed and duly signed resident permit application form
– Original and copy of passport
– Two photographs as per visa specifications
– Travel medical insurance
– Cover letter
– University degree certificate & all semester transcripts of bachelor degree
– Letter of admission from the university
– Financial documents (ITR)
– Proof of sufficient fund
– Sponsorship letter
– Proof of accommodation in Austria
– Proof of airline reservation
– Police clearance certificate with apostille
– Date of birth certificate
3. Submit the resident permit at the Delhi embassy and pay for the visa process
4. After submission wait for resident permit confirmation
5. Once after confirmation
6. Book appointment at VFS for VISA D – entry
7. Visit VFS & pay the money for VISA D
8. Get the visa D stamp in the passport and travel to Austria
9. Once after entry get the resident permit in Linz local magistrate
