Our second major PS5 system software update is here! Dubbed the ‘September Update’ (or really 21.01-04.00) this one brings a lot of highly requested features. We finally have SSD expansion enabled! And Control Center customization! PS5/PS4 labels! Did somebody say 3D Audio? Because we’ve got 3D Audio enhancements here. There’s a lot going for this PS5 firmware, so let me break down each and every one of them. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you might even update your old PSP.
