These sensors use lasers or LEDs to measure distances quickly and very precisely on a wide variety of materials, even at long ranges.

ODSL 8
The compact laser distance sensors of this series in a compact metal housing provide distance information independent of remission. The sensor enables fast commissioning through teach-in.

ODS 9
The ODS 9 optical distance sensors set standards in precision and ease of use. Even under difficult conditions, such as objects with gloss, the sensor enables accurate measurement. The integrated display shows the measured values and allows convenient adjustment of the sensor. Only at digital interfaces do the distance sensors show their potential for precision.

ODS 10
The ODS 10 is an optical distance sensor that measures the distance against a non-cooperating target and provides the information as a measured value. The range of the device is up to 8,000 mm with an accuracy of typ. ±15 mm. Against a reflector, a range of up to 25,000 mm is achieved. The accuracy is almost independent of the material.

ODS 96B
ODS 96B series distance sensors with large measuring ranges from 60 to 25,000 mm are suitable for a wide range of applications and are extremely robust thanks to their metal housing. They measure in the ms range. The integrated display shows the measured values and enables convenient adaptation of the sensor to the measurement task. In addition to analog current/voltage interfaces and binary switching outputs, digital interfaces are available. Digital interfaces prevent conversion losses in the sensor, controller and during measurement data transmission.

ODSL 30
The ODSL 30 measures distances to black objects up to 30 m away, to bright objects even up to 65 m away. The sensor resolution of 1 mm enables highly accurate measurements in the complete measuring range. The integrated display shows the measured values and allows convenient adjustment of the sensor to the measurement task. In addition to analog current/voltage interfaces and binary switching outputs, digital interfaces are available. Only at digital interfaces do the distance sensors show their potential for precision.

ODS 110
The ODS 110 is an optical distance sensor that measures the distance against any object and provides the information as an analog measured value or as a digital measured value via the IO-Link interface. The range of the device is up to 5,000 mm. The accuracy is almost independent of the material.
