Have you suffered with or have suffered with Hyperemesis Gravidarum? Then you will understand the frustration of not knowing exactly what has caused it.

There are many theories out there some harmless and others more sinister. Friends, Family and even Doctors will all have their theories too and whilst they may mean well attributing this condition to "It’s all in your head" or "You’re just allergic to pregnancy" only make us feel worse when we are at our lowest.

Thankfully we now know what the causes are and whilst there are still many other avenues to explore and more research to be done, we can now say that Hyperemesis is genetic.
