Boris Johnson was briefly lost for words when he appeared to lose his place during a speech to the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) conference in South Shields on Monday. The prime minister, using a paper script and not a teleprompter, was forced to shuffle through his notes for 20 seconds in front of business leaders, before going on to talk about visit to a Peppa Pig theme park that he described as ‘my kind of place’
