New South Wales Health Minister Brad Hazzard said the state’s COVID-19 case numbers are “heading in the right direction” after recording 587 infections from 112,186 tests over the past 24 hours.
“I’m very pleased to say, the numbers have gone down again today and today I can announce there are 587 positive cases here in New South Wales,” he said.
“So, we’re heading in the right direction and now this 70 per cent double dose vaccination, everybody now needs to go out and take us to closer to 100%.
“As Health Minister, I want to see all vaccinated, all safe and keeping our community safe more broadly.”
