Hon. Hugh Todd at the Thirty eighth session of ECLAC - 26/10/2020 (English)

The thirty-eighth session of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) will be held online, from 26 to 28 October 2020. In accordance with resolution 734(PLEN.33) adopted at the thirty-third session of the Committee of the Whole of ECLAC, member States agreed that Costa Rica would be the host country of this session.The session is the most important intergovernmental conference for steering the work of ECLAC. It serves as a forum for consideration of the most pressing economic and social development issues for the countries of the region, as well as an occasion to review the progress made by the Commission.
