Southeast Asian countries are taking a tightened path towards reopening their economies and tourism.

Thailand, the country located SE Asia, was once one of the most attractive digital nomad places.

Fast forward today, reopening plans have been delayed several times leaving foreigners guessing when the paradise might reopen its borders to international travelers.

Recently, several real estate scams got exposed, most of which occurred on the island of Phuket.

One of the most devastating stories involves a British national who lost all his real estate due to a fraudulent incident involving his wife.

As the story became public, more expats revealed similar bad experiences involving real estate scams in Thailand.

The British citizen who lost most all his real estate in the country recommended foreigners to not invest in Thailand due to the lack of protection.
