Wael Sami Elkholy is a singer, performer and composer from Egypt. Born and raised in Dubai. After moving to Cairo he soon became a nationally known child star. He appeared in music, television and theatre productions, and gave concerts regularly at the Cairo Opera House. He completed his musical studies at the Cairo Music Academy and at the University of Bern for Arts, where he graduated with two master’s degrees in composition and theatre musical. Engagements as a traditional Arab singer and composition projects have taken him to America, China, Europe and the entire Arab world. Wael is active on many stages in Switzerland and Europe. He tours with his band Ab3ed. His compositions have been performed and awarded at festivals around the world.
